Volumetric Weight: For bulky but lightweight items, shipping costs may be calculated based on dimensions (volumetric weight) rather than physical mass, per industry standards.
Calculation: Shipping fees are automatically generated at checkout based on the higher of the gross or volumetric weight to ensure logistical accuracy.
2. Orders and Payment
Order Acceptance: Your order represents an offer to purchase. HMF Direct reserves the right to accept, decline, or limit the quantity of any order at our sole discretion.
Payment: We accept major credit cards and verified online payment gateways. By submitting an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.
3. Shipping, Delivery, and Collection
Shipping Areas: We provide delivery services to all postcodes across the United Kingdom.
Delivery Estimates: We aim for a delivery window of 1–4 working days. Please note that timelines may fluctuate based on destination and external logistical factors. Refer to our Shipping Policy for detailed rates.
Click & Collect: Customers may opt to collect orders from our physical location. Important: To ensure your items are prepared, you must call the store in advance to confirm your pickup time before arriving.
4. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations
Cancellations: Orders may be cancelled only before they are dispatched. Once an item has shipped, the standard returns process must be followed. Please contact customer support immediately for cancellation requests.
Damaged or Incorrect Items: Discrepancies or damages must be reported within 48 hours of delivery to qualify for a replacement or refund.
