REFUND AND RETURN POLICY

At HMF Direct, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.


1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • In its original, undamaged packaging.

  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


2. Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. To ensure health and safety, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Perishable Goods: Food (dry or frozen), flowers, newspapers, or magazines.

  • Health & Personal Care: Intimate or sanitary goods, and certain personal care items.

  • Hazardous Materials: Flammable liquids, gases, or other hazardous materials.

  • Gift Cards: All gift card sales are final.


3. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: Your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 3–7 working days.

  • Sale Items: Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Items purchased on sale are final sale and cannot be refunded.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

  3. Contact your bank; there is often a processing period.

  4. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@hmfdirect.co.uk.


4. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon arrival. If you need to exchange an item for the exact same product, please email us at info@hmfdirect.co.uk and send your item to:

5. Gifts

  • Gifted to You: If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the item is received.

  • Not Marked as Gift: If the item wasn’t marked as a gift at purchase, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.


6. Shipping Your Return

To return your product, mail it to:

 

  • Costs: You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Deductions: If you receive a refund, the cost of the original shipping will be deducted from your total.

  • Tracking: If you are returning expensive items, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
